Hysteroscopy procedure uses a thin telescope, that is inserted into the uterus. Hysteroscopy is used to find the cause of abnormal heavy bleeding or bleeding that occurs after a woman has passed menopause or to see if problem in your uterus prevents you from becoming pregnant. A hysteroscopy can be used to remove growths in the uterus, i.e. fibroids or polyps.
